Land Acknowledgement

Direct Horizontal Drilling acknowledges the traditional land on which we work and reside; the Treaty Six Territory.

We would like to thank the diverse Indigenous Peoples whose ancestors’ footsteps have marked this territory for centuries. We respect the histories, languages, and cultures of First Nations, Metis, Inuit, and all First Peoples of Canada, whose presence continues to enrich our community. Direct Horizontal Drilling Inc. is committed to providing a workplace which promotes innovation and creativity through our diverse and inclusive talent pool. We will continuously work with local indigenous groups to employ, mentor and train employees to meet the job requirements of our operations.

Direct Horizontal Drilling Inc. will engage with third party contractors in the areas we work in to employ indigenous contracted services as available and required for operations.

Direct Horizontal Drilling Inc., aims to ensure that all those participating in our workplace are treated with respect, dignity and fairness with an aim of creating an environment which promotes positive working relationships.

Direct Horizontal Drilling has formal signed agreements with First Nations in Alberta and British Columbia.
